We are looking for an Associate Scientist to contribute to the development and commercialisation of OXGENE technologies, advancing the delivery of new therapeutics, by assisting in the development and manufacture of innovative cell and gene therapy solutions. You will be part of Viral Cell Line Development (VCLD) team within the Biomanufacturing Services department working under the supervision of senior members/group leader and will be required to focus on various projects adjusting to team and business needs.
As Associate Scientist, you will be supporting the team to maintain and implement current manufacturing platforms, for both internal and commercial use. In particular, you will carry out routine maintenance of host and engineered cell lines, routine maintenance of VCLD lab facility and re-stocking, provide support to cell line development and viral screening production campaigns as required. As you will become familiar with our processes, you’ll be required to lead experiments autonomously, from design and planning to setup, data analysis and summary. You will also be required to contribute toward implementation of process, products and sample management.
In performing their duties, the Associate Scientist demonstrates strict adherence to standard operating procedures and Quality Assurance. The Associate Scientist is responsible for accurate record keeping ensuring data integrity and that work complies with recommended Health and Safety Guidelines.
